On the beautiful promenade of Salò, the height of the landing stage, they notice “The Church of San Pietro” and “the Palazzo del Podesta” testimony to the noble history of the city. Situated on an enchanting gulf at the foot of Mount S. Bartolomeo (m. 568), it is the “capital” of the Alto Garda Bresciano. The historic center, between Piazza Carmine, the “cleansing” and the lakefront, is a dense network of streets, alleys and squares with stately homes, elegant shops, restaurants and bars.

Peschiera del Garda

Peschiera del Garda is one of the original towns of the Garda Lake, it is completely surrounded by canals and overlooks the lake at the point where the waters of Garda Lake come emissary Mincio. The historic center of Peschiera del Garda is in fact bounded by walls which changed the natural course of the river.
